Grokkist Press Reading Room

The Grokkist letter

Taking my own advice

A video letter on showing up unpolished, the new Crossroads, and two books being made in company.

This fortnight the letter is a video — about ten minutes of me talking through what has been going on around Grokkist.

I have spent years telling people that showing up unpolished is the point, and that it is your aliveness that lights the room rather than your polish. So it seemed about time I took my own advice. Tell me what you make of it: if you like the format, say so, and if you don't, say that too.

Which letters
What's the difference?

The Grokkist letter is Danu's monthly letter about the whole Grokkist community: what people are making and thinking about, gatherings coming up, and a handful of Snackables, small good things worth your time.

The Press sends you new writing from this site as it's published (essays, talks, stories, books in instalments), plus a monthly letter from the editor. You can narrow it to the Realms you care about.

Choose either or both. Each email has a one-click way out.
